It reads the set the way you do

Every sheet's words and where they are, a whole sheet or a zoom into a schedule or riser diagram with a labelled grid to read places off, and the markups with their counts, lengths and areas.

It draws ordinary markups

Clouds, boxes, callouts, text, arrows, counts, lengths, areas and notes, that Ctrl+Z, Delete and Save treat like any other. It sets anyone's status and comment, but moves, rewords or deletes only its own, and it never saves.

About the assistant.

Which AI assistant does it work with?

It connects to your own Claude Desktop or Claude Code, on your own plan, through the open Model Context Protocol. ScaleSet PDF itself calls no AI service and needs no key, and the link is off until you turn it on.

Are my drawings sent anywhere by ScaleSet PDF?

No. The assistant you connect talks to the app on your computer over a local link with a fresh token. What it does with what it reads is governed by your own assistant's plan and settings.

What can the assistant do with the drawing?

Read every sheet's words and where they are, look at a whole sheet or zoom into a schedule, list the markups and add up counts, lengths and areas, measure, and draw clouds, callouts, text, arrows, counts and notes as ordinary markups.

Can it change other people's markups?

It can set anyone's status and comment, but it moves, rewords or deletes only its own markups, and it never saves. Ctrl+Z undoes anything it did.
