Your admin adds an email

On the team page at scaleset-pdf.com, your admin invites people by email and can make others admins. Each invite holds a seat until it is removed; people join the first time they sign in.

In the browser, never in the app

Choose Sign in in ScaleSet PDF and your own browser opens scaleset-pdf.com. Sign in with Google or an email link, and the app is ready - no password ever goes near it, and a sign-in only works on the computer that asked for it.

Anywhere - once

Three days offline on site is fine. Sign in on another computer and the seat moves: the first computer is told where you signed in, lets you save, and then stops. Your admin can also sign a computer out - a lost laptop, someone away.

About licences.

How is ScaleSet PDF licensed?

Reading is free for anyone. The markup, takeoff and editing tools are licensed to teams, a seat per person: your admin invites people by email, and each invite holds one seat.

Can I use it on two computers?

One at a time. Signing in on a second computer moves your seat there; the first one lets you save your drawings and then stops until you sign in on it again.

Does it work offline?

Yes. A signed-in computer keeps working for up to three days without the internet - a few days on site is fine. After that it needs to check in once.

How do people sign in?

With Google or an email link, in their own browser. The app never sees a password.

Can our admin see who is using it?

Yes. The team page shows each person, which computer holds their seat, when it last checked in and the version it runs. It shows nothing about drawings.
